I was born February 1, 1977, from two wonderfully artistic parents. By the age of four, I knew that I loved just about all forms of art. Quickly, I immersed myself in learning how to draw and play music. Over the years, I honed my skills as a pencil artist and expanded my realm of mediums to colored pencil, acrylic, water color, oil s, pen and ink. For many years, I worked in the construction industry and found myself depressed and unsatisfied with my lot in life. Finally, I made a decision to focus my life on doing what I love for a living. In 2006, I decided to try my hand as a tattoo artist. It wasn’t until the following year that I finally found my way into the industry. My best friend Matt Camp introduced me to the owner of Art Explosion Tattoo and Body Piercing Company (Brad Woods), which is where I started my apprenticeship under Matt. I specialize in realism, black and gray, and color work, but I am also well versed in other styles of tattooing such as Traditional Japanese, New School, and many others.
At this time, I want to give a special thanks to both of these gentlemen for helping me to realize my potential and for helping me to find my passion in life. I also want to truly thank my mother and sister for being my strength and encouraging me to be the artist I am today. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio. Take a look at my portfolio and call me at the shop to set an appointment. I hope to see you soon.
